The 50-50 Foundation is proud to be a finalist in the 2020 annual Queensland Community Foundation Philanthropy Awards for the Philanthropist of the Year Award. The QCF Awards honour those who have made an outstanding contribution to the community and encourage support for Queensland charities and community service organisations.
We were recognised for contributing over $4 million to charitable causes through our two brands Play For Purpose and the 50-50 Charity Raffle and for the facilitation of over 30,000 hours of support from volunteers though our corporate and not-for-profit volunteering program.
We were in good company at the awards ceremony held at Queensland Parliament House on 7th September this year, with Professor Ian Frazer AC and Caroline Frazer taking out the Philanthropist of the Year Award. It was a great night and we’re proud to have made a contribution to the Queensland not-for-profit community.
